The director Christophe Ruggia was’s arrested and indicted on 14 January 2020 the morning, according to information collected by LCI.

In a survey published in early November by Mediapart, Adèle Haenel accusé the director Christophe Ruggia, which had made him turn his very first film entitled The Devils in 2002, “touching” and “sexual harassment”. So I wrote a screenplay with a role for her and one for Vincent Rottiers, but my producer didn’t want to hear about it.” “She was betting on my future film, summarized Christophe Ruggia. The next day, I received a letter of extraordinary violence, where it was reported that it stopped the film because I had betrayed and manipulated.”

The actress was heard by the investigators in the local central Office for the repression of violence against a person (OCRVP), in Nanterre on Tuesday 26 November 2019. She declares “actively in this procedure, considering that it is the responsibility of the litigant as a public figure to take part, given the seriousness of the facts reported and the consequences for everyone.”
