Experts estimate that approximately one billion animals were killed in the fire.

“From our side, Rescue, Animal Rescue, we decided to go for the difference and send a team on the field”, explains Éric Dussault.

Thanks to the raised platform sociofinancement GoFundMe, members will be able to take off Sunday morning for Australia.

“We have contacts that we say” it is nice money, but we also need veterinarians, animal health technologists, we need to arm on the ground,” said Mr. Dussault.

Rescue Animal Rescue has over a decade of expertise in the field of rescue, technical animal.

The agency has shared in the rescue of several animals to Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, during the floods of last spring.
