Everything to the screen on the new Meizu 16s

With the 16s, Meizu has been relatively wise. The smartphone, just announced, oversees its screen between two borders at the top and bottom are thicker than on the sides ; the effect of symmetry is approximately respected, unlike other devices.

No notch, no hole, a large screen

The border at the top allows the manufacturer to slip in a camera of 20-megapixel (f/1.6) for selfies. No need for complicated mechanism or notch therefore, for a result of design rather satisfactory in the end. And unlike the Meizu Zero so-called without holes, that 16s is not a joke !

On the technical sheet, you find the solid top of the range since the Meizu 16s is equipped with a Super AMOLED screen of 6.2 inches (Full HD+), a chip Snapdragon 855 with 6 to 8 Gb of RAM (from 128 to 256 Gb of storage), a duo camera at the back (48 megapixel f/1.7 and a 20-megapixel f/2.6), a battery with a capacity of 3,600 mAh battery with fast-charging (24 w).

No third module photo at the back, which is a shame. The fingerprint reader is positioned on the inside of the screen. The 16s incorporates a USB port-C and it runs on Android 9 Walk, with the overlay Flyme 7.3. Good news : the device will be released in France next month, the price of 425 euros for the version 6/128.
