HP adds a finishing real wood on some of its laptops

For the past few years, the care of laptops and ultrabooks has been steadily increasing. It is now not uncommon that the manufacturers use a material called nobles to make their machines even more attractive.

This is particularly the case of Microsoft with its famous Alcantara, but also HP, which has recently added a touch of leather to its very attractive Spectrum Portfolio. This last recurrence today with its range Envy Wood which, as its name indicates, proposes to play with the wood.

The Envy 13, the Envy 17, the Envy x360, 13 and the Envy x360 15 show overlays with evocative names : “Ceramic and white Birch, Silver and natural birch pale” or ” dark walnut and natural.” Of the labels that is synonymous of course with the color used. We’re not going to lie to you, you will appreciate the simplicity and class of the whole.

You will have understood it, the mark navigates between the luxury and the ecological side to give a different appearance to its machines, including the chassis remains, of course, metal. She noted, however, that the wooden parts will sport a “grain” single.

Inside it is nothing new. It will be possible to choose between different Intel Core of the latest generation and between chips AMD range Ryzen. It is, therefore, of a new aesthetic. This range should be available towards the autumn, but HP has not yet disclosed the price.
