Jamel Debbouze : Complicity and joy to the final of the trophy of improv

This is one of the projects in which Jamel Debbouze is most important. Since its inception nine years ago, it sponsored the Trophy for the Improv Culture & Diversity created by Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, president of the Foundation Culture & Diversity, in association with the Déclic Theatre company. The final of the 9th edition, held at the théâtre de la Madeleine, Monday 27 may 2019 from 14, in the presence of the comedian, and Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière.

The Trophy of the Improv Culture & Diversity allows college students to discover the theatre through improvisation. Jamel Debbouze, these games improv are a factor of integration and personal development for these middle schoolers, as they had been for him. This 9th edition was attended by 65 colleges, with the majority classified as priority education or located in a rural area, from 16 territories of the Ardèche, Bordeaux, Brest, Chenôve, Fat, Hauts-de-France, Limoges, Lyon, france, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Paris, Rennes, Rochefort, Savoie, Toulouse, Traps and Vaucluse. Throughout the year, the students worked with professional actors before they met in the semi-finals held in Lille, Limoges, Versailles, and in the Vaucluse. Monday, the teens qualified met one last time in front of an audience of 500 people.

For this trophy improvisation, the winning team, which comes to us from the Vaucluse, has been able to show eloquence, imagination, and a spirit of solid team who have enabled him to win the votes of the public. The students were given their award from the hands of Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière and Jamel Debbouze, all of the two are especially happy to meet these young talents.

Liberty, equality, improvise

Jamel Debbouze has found its way in, pushing the door of the Déclic Theatre company, in Trappes, where he grew up. He was barely 16 years old when it happened in the final of the junior championship of France of the Ligue d’improvisation française. For several years, he sponsored in colleges French this award, which enables us to discover the improvisational theatre to the greatest number. The journalist and producer Melissa Theuriau has dedicated a documentary, entitled Liberty, equality, improvise, inspired by the journey of her husband Jamel Debbouze at the side of Alain Degois, director of the company Click to Hatches, and Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière. The three men defend improvisation as a remedy against the inequalities, exclusion and school failure, and wish that it becomes a school discipline as a whole. In the meantime, the Trophy for the Improv Culture & Diversity allows each year to reach more schools and thus the first concerned.

For the 9th edition of the Trophy of the Improv Culture & Diversity was associated with the transaction Tell me ten words, which raises awareness of the French language and is organised by the ministry of Culture. The group ID Logistics, the european leader in contract logistics, supported the event.
