OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7, vintage 2019 climbs in the range

Set as a chinese clock, OnePlus takes advantage of Spring to announce its smartphone annual. Here is the OnePlus 7 but also the OnePlus 7 Pro. If the first target the same market as in previous years, the new OnePlus 7 Pro has the ambition to go tickle the smartphone market Premium, occupied by Samsung, Huawei or even Apple.

The OnePlus 7 Pro, Premium in its ambitions

With a screen full, OnePlus announces the base color since we know it for some time already, its screen looks excellent after the very serious site DisplayMate. In fact, the OnePlus 7 Pro offers a screen of Fluid AMOLED 6.67 inches with a resolution QuadHD+ (1440×3120) and thus a density of 516ppp. The screen of the OnePlus 7 Pro offers curved edges, the certification HDR10+ and, especially, a refresh rate of 90Hz for a more fluid display. It is Gorilla Glass 5 and holds 88.6% of the front surface. For the more tech-savvy, yes, it is a slab of Samsung ! So, that explains why Samsung keeps a little ahead with the slab of Galaxy S10 as the Gorilla Glass 6 or of the edges a little more purposes for example.

Because the screen is full, no notch, drop of water, or of holes in the screen, the front camera (16 Megapixel camera with an aperture F2.0) is in the form of a camera slider. According to OnePlus, it opens in 0.65 seconds, and it has been tested to withstand some 300,000 openings. When it is deployed, it is resistant to dust and when it is closed, it makes the OnePlus 7 Pro’s water resistant. Attention, at OnePlus, there is resistance, but it does not always speak of certification IPxx.

Similar to the declination of 10x Zoom on the Oppo Reno, OnePlus has the same principle on the 7 Pro with the back of a triple camera. The main camera offers the famous Sony sensor IMX586 of 48 Megapixels with an aperture of F1.6 and a double optical image stabilization and electronic. The autofocus of the device main combines phase detection, laser detection and contrast. The second camera is a telephoto lens with a sensor of 8 Megapixels. It is stabilized optics and provides an optical zoom of 3x. And finally, the last camera is a ultra wide-angle lens with a field of view of 117° and an aperture of F2.2.

With this new block photo, it should be noted that OnePlus did not want to take the train zooms hybrid 10x but has instead chosen to focus on a 3x optical zoom but with a better aperture, which allows better performance in low light. Besides, OnePlus brings a few new software as well as the method UltraShot that combines several photos and HDR to provide the best possible photo. OnePlus has also reworked its Night mode, faster and more efficient. The 7 Pro can record video until 4K at 60fps and clearly benefits of stabilizations optical and electronic on the main camera.

Available in version Mirror Gray, or Nebula Blue, count 709€ for the version 128gb with 6gb of RAM, 759€ for the version 256gb with 8gb of RAM and 829€ with 12gb of RAM. And speaking of memory, I remind you that the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 embeds the memory UFS 3.0, which is not only faster, due to bandwidth two times larger than the UFS 2.1 but also consumes less energy. If the price rises and begins to touch the smartphone market premium, it should be noted that it is still more accessible than its competitors at Samsung, Huawei or Apple.

Tomorrow, OnePlus will offer a flash sale on its site. On 18 may, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in the pop-up in some Fnac and finally, this is from the may 21, that will be available officially in the OnePlus 7 Pro.

And finally, because you have been wise, we offers the test of the OnePlus 7 Pro video :

The OnePlus 7, the successor to the 6T

For the OnePlus 7, this is indeed the true successor to the OnePlus 6T since it has the same design and dimensions. Only a small gram and a back with a mirror finish Dark Grey marks the physical difference between a 7 and a 6T.

Of course, OnePlus has made a few updates with a new SoC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, UFS 3.0, or even a new block photo showing the new Sony sensor IMX 586 48 Megapixels (as it was found in Xiaomi and Oppo) coupled to a second 5-Megapixel sensor for the calculation of the depth-of-field.
