The characteristics of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro on the run !

What we know about OnePlus 7, already announced as one of the best smartphones on the market

The Chinese brand OnePlus has only existed for five years, and sells fewer phones than its compatriot Huawei, but its products have acquired a solid reputation among connoisseurs. It is said to be the most reliable brand in France, and its latest model — the OnePlus 6T — is currently the best telephone in the world according to Business Insider US. And it could once again impress technophiles with the upcoming release of its One Plus 7, whose price should, however, be higher than the previous model.

Indeed, the brand is used to launching a new generation of its flagship phone in the spring. She has already invited her fans and the press to an event on May 14 in New York. In addition, OnePlus has already revealed some elements and, as every time a manufacturer is about to announce a new flagship product, rumours and leaks of information are going well. Here's what we already know about OnePlus 7, from its price to its release date, including its specs sheet.

Release Date of OnePlus 7: Probably current may

OnePlus made a habit of marketing its phones within days of their announcement. For example, OnePlus 6, unveiled on 16 May 2018, entered the market on 22 May. One plus 5, unveiled on 20 June 2017, officially arrived on 27 June.

It is, therefore, reasonable to expect that OnePlus 7 will be released in May, as it will be announced on the 14th of the month.

For the first time, the brand is expected to unveil two phones in parallel. The ONEP Plus 7 should be accompanied by a higher-end One Plus 7 Pro.

The price of the OnePlus 7 Pro: higher than previous models of the brand

According to leaks, considered credible by the specialized site AndroidCentral, the OnePlus 7 Pro should, unsurprisingly, cost more than the OnePlus 6T, currently sold between 559 and 639 euros on the site of the manufacturer.

Here are the possible prices in Europe for the OnePlus 7 Pro :

  •  749 euros for the version with 8 Gb of RAM and 256 Gb of storage.
  •  819 euros for the one with 12 Gb of RAM and 256 Gb of storage.
 * AndroidCentral also estimates that the version with 6 Gb of RAM and 128 Gb of storage could be sold 699 euros.

However, we do not yet have any information on the price of the classic OnePlus 7.
Specification of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro: a state-of-the-art processor and a 48-megapixel camera
OnePlus has already announced that its phones scheduled for 2019 will come out equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, the same one that is already equipping the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the LG G8.

As for the camera, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro should both have a 48-megapixel camera at the back of the phone, as well as a second sensor like telephoto lens. In addition, the OnePlus 7 Pro should also offer a third sensor, ultra-wide angle. The OnePlus 7 Pro should be equipped with a 3x optical zoom.

The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro will be sold with the new version of Oxygen OS, based on Android 9.0, the latest version of Google's operating system — like the OnePlus 6T.

An edge-free and notch screen for the ONEP Plus 7 Pro

Images of the OnePlus 7 Pro are believed to have leaked to the Chinese social network Weibo. It shows a telephone with a screen that covers the entire front surface of it, without a notch for the front camera. And for good reason: this one would be retractable, as shown in the images in the tweet below.

The OnePlus 7 Pro screen would be "super smooth" and "very precise"

OnePlus ' CEO, Pete Lau, told The Verge website that OnePlus 7 Pro will have a "super smooth" screen. This could match the rumours of a screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, when most smartphones settle for 60Hz. This indicator corresponds to the number of images per second displayed on the screen. Clearly, the OnePlus 7 Pro should offer a very smooth display, especially when it comes to switching from one menu to another, or playing games.

Pete Lau also stated that the OnePlus 7 Pro screen would be"very accurate". This could be a reference to the display resolution. While OnePlus 6T has a 1080p display, OnePlus 7 Pro should offer a 1440p display.
The OnePlus 7 Pro should be curved to 6.6 inches, while the OnePlus 7 should be flat to 6.4 inches.

5G compatibility

According to Pete Lau, still interviewed by The Verge, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be compatible with the 5G network. But since this method of reception is not yet very widespread, OnePlus should not make it the main selling point of its new smartphone, according to the specialized site.

OnePlus 7 Pro: detailed images that show its screen without any problem

The OnePlus 7 Pro is much awaited and should be unveiled soon. The visuals for the press were leaked before its presentation.

Early publication of press visuals has become something of a classic in the smartphone market, and in tech in general. The OnePlus 7 Pro is no exception.

It is once again at Ishan Agarwal that we owe these visuals that allow us to discover the design of the OnePlus 7 Pro in detail.

Borderless screen and triple Sensor

If you have followed OnePlus ' communication, you will have understood that the OnePlus 7 Pro screen is its centerpiece to differentiate itself from other smartphones.

The shared visuals confirm that the screen will be borderless type, with a chin that looks pretty fine, and no front camera, the latter will be deployed by a pop-up mechanism.

The images show the OnePlus 7 Pro with two colors, the very classic " Mirror Grey "on one side, and the slightly less classic, but quite sober, "Nebula Blue", a sort of night blue in a degraded state.

At the back one can also note again the presence of 3 cameras, and the absence of fingerprint reader, which will obviously be hidden under the surface of the screen, as on the OnePlus 6T before it.
