Apple A13: its graphics circuit would far dominate the competition

Apple A13 will greatly enhance the CPU multi-core performance and GPU, this GPU is still far beyond the Android camp's SoC, maintaining a one-year advantage.

With its SoC A12, Apple has hit hard, both on the GPU and CPU parts. According to Ice Universe, with its next A13 chip, the company should continue on this path and significantly improve multi-core CPU performance. The GPU would not be outdone, since it would stay one year ahead of the competition.

The EUV 7nm+ of TSMC in the balance 

With the A12, Apple had slightly reduced the surface area of the CPU blocks and increased the size of the L1 caches from 64 KB to 128 KB. For its next generation, the company would focus this time on multi-core performance. This seems quite plausible, as the A12 easily exceeds 11,000 points in this category under the GeekBench and dominates the Kirin 980 and Snapdragon 855, while Ice Universe also claims that the A13 GPU would maintain a year's lead over Android. However, this assertion is more debatable, as the Adreno 640 beats the iPhone in some tests. Nevertheless, Apple's A13 will have one major advantage: it will be the first SoC manufactured using TSMC's EUV 7nm+ process.
