Libratone TRACK Air+ : new competitors for AirPods with noise reduction active

After Sony, it is the turn of Libratone to present its new (and first) headphones completely wireless with a technology of reducing noise active.

In terms of design, the TRACK Air+ are somewhere between the AirPods and the Sony WF–1000XM3. They are in-ear and have a small vertical stem triangular. Each earpiece weighs 5.6 g, more than the AirPods (4 g) but less than the Sony (8.5 g). They are Bluetooth 5 and resistant to sweat and splash proof (certification IPX4).

Libratone ensures that his insulation system can automatically reduce up to 30 dB of ambient noise. It can also be manually controlled. In this respect, the controls are tactile and the headphones will automatically pause music when removed.

Autonomy announced is six hours (it is not known whether it is with or without the noise reduction). The charging case, which provides three full charges, may be powered by induction, which is not the case of the Sony WF–1000XM3.

The TRACK Air+ will be on sale from July 15 on Amazon for 199 €. The giant of e-commerce will be an exclusive for a month. The first 400 customers will receive a free induction charger Libratone Coil to a value of 39 €.

Libratone is also putting on the market of the headphones are more affordable, the TRACK Air. They will not have noise reduction active and will be a little more heavy (11 g). They will soon be available at €159.
